Building Dreams Foundation’s third annual golf scramble raises over $130,000

The third annual Building Dreams Foundation Golf Scramble, held Thurs., Oct. 17, at Quail West Golf & Country Club, raised more than $130,000 to benefit local charities focused on improving the lives of underprivileged families through affordable housing and education.

“We are incredibly grateful to our sponsors for their generosity this year,” said Michael Diamond, President of Diamond Custom Homes and Title Sponsor of the event. “Thanks to their support, we are able to contribute significantly to several Southwest Florida charities, as well as the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Helene and Milton relief efforts.”

Since its establishment in March 2020 by Jeff Benham and Michael Diamond of Diamond Custom Homes, the Building Dreams Foundation has positively impacted numerous local organizations focused on improving the lives of underprivileged families through affordable housing and education. Previous proceeds have supported Habitat for Humanity Collier County, The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, Valerie’s House, Community School of Naples Financial Aid Program, First Tee, Chubb Classic, A Swing of Grace, STARability Foundation, Compassion International, and the Holocaust Museum & Cohen Education Center.
