The Building Dreams Foundation today announced that its third annual golf scramble will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024, at Quail West Golf and Country Club, 5950 Burnham Road, Naples, Fla. This eagerly anticipated event continues to support the foundation’s mission of promoting educational opportunities and providing safe, affordable housing in local communities.
Founded in March 2020 by Diamond Custom Homes, the Building Dreams Foundation reflects its commitment to building stronger communities throughout Southwest Florida. The company, known for its award-winning custom estates, created the foundation as a separate nonprofit entity to focus on philanthropic endeavors.
“The expression ‘Building Dreams’ refers to our ability to help those in need,” said Diamond Custom Homes President Michael Diamond. “The foundation is a natural extension of our dedication to community well-being, hope and security.”
Since its inception, the Building Dreams Foundation has raised approximately $150,000 through various initiatives, including the annual golf scramble, open house events and collaborative partnerships with organizations including Habitat for Humanity of Collier County and The Shelter for Abused Women & Children.
“Our upcoming golf scramble at Quail West Golf & Country Club is a great opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause,” said Diamond. “Our goal is to increase annual donations to $500,000 by 2025, which makes the support from this event especially crucial.”
To date, proceeds from the tournament have benefited numerous local organizations including the Southwest Florida Emergency Relief Fund through United Way, Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, Harry Chapin Food Bank of Southwest Florida, The Shelter for Abused Women & Children, STARability Foundation and others.
